DescriptionThis is an incredible opportunity for the recent or soon to be college graduate. This internship could also be described as an entry level position for a print magazine for the cream oft he crop. Chicago Scene Magazine will be back in print in the coming months to go along with their digital and experiential campaigns.
This internship would consist of creating content on deadline for assigned written or video stories. Concise, creative and unusual stories will be appreciated. The ability to take quality pictures for these stories will add to your value.
Pushing your content and other Chicago Scene sports content through social media will also be a major part of your responsibilities.
This is an accredited internship that also has a pathway to a paying job with the experiential end of the business.
ResponsibilitiesThe sports interns at Chicago Scene Magazine will need to create content that is provided on our editorial schedule. Writers and on air personalities that can cultivate their own unique sports an recreation stories around Chicago will have the best chance of sticking with the magazine in a paid position.
Interns will have to promote our Sports events through social media.
RequirementsMust possess the ability to write concise stories that draw people's attention.
Must create quality content on a deadline.
Must dedicate at least 20 hours a week.
Must have the ability to drive content through social media.
