Augur Marketing was is based in Washington, DC and was founded in 2009. Augur manages multi-channel marketing campaigns including website development, online advertising, social media outreach, and video production. The goals of the campaigns are to raise awareness, create a buzz and generate sales for clients.

Current clients include:

1. Money Mailer, one of the largest direct marketing companies in the United States.
2. Dr. Shore Armani
3. The 2,000 acre Ranson Green construction project which will provide veterans with low-cost housing.

The Web Video Producer works as an online outreach team member and creates and edits promotional videos for Augur Marketing as well as for clients. The videos are short, less than 3 minutes and are used for online promotions and email blasts. Some are animation videos, they may include actual video footage and stock footage, and sound tracks.

You are responsible for conceptualization, story boarding, development, and production of promotional videos.

This is a great opportunity to stuff your resume, learn on the job, and to develop your portfolio. Training is provided.


Responsibilities include:

1. Edit and update existing Augur Marketing videos.
2. Create new client videos and Augur promotional videos.
3. Publish the videos on social media sites including YouTube.
4. Assist with the promotion of the videos in online campaigns.


The candidate must have a basic understanding of video editing, animation, and production software as well as audio editing.

You must know how to upload to and use YouTube editing and promotional tools.

You need to be confident, organized and to communicate well in a fast paced environment.

The prime candidate must be a team player and interact well with all levels of clients and Augur staff and contacts.
