The Golden Gate Institute for Integrative Medicine (GGIIM) offers a 3-month internship to undergrad and post baccalaureate students interested in gaining solid experience to complement their studies and prepare them to meet their career ambitions in the clinical/medical/public health/nursing field. Responsibilities

Functional duties include assisting physicians with scribing (you will be seeing patients directly), minor office duties, and medical writing and editing.

Requirements

***Rolling admissions*** Applications are reviewed year-round.*** Please submit your resume with a genuine cover letter. 3 months, 16 hours a week commitment. You are welcome to contribute more hours if you're looking to build up your credentials further. Performance will be evaluated every week based on quality of work and productivity, and reference letters and completion certificate will be provided upon successful/satisfactory completion. Our interns are usually on-site in San Carlos, San Francisco, and Pleasanton, and occasional remote (online) and fieldwork projects are also possible during the internship. 100% telecommuting is not possible so please do not apply if you are not going to be in the Bay Area for 3 months in a row. Preference will be given to candidates with (at the very minimum) some science/medical background. The ideal candidate is a diligent science/medical/health recent graduate who multitasks under minimal supervision and has excellent communication skills. Applicants must be able to do the full 3 months at 16 hours/week.
