The Museum of Russian Icons has a versatile internship program that encompasses all levels of museum administration as well as offering opportunities to those wishing to study art history, Russian history and culture, and many other subjects. Internships at the Museum are specifically designed according to each applicant's career goals and interests. Projects are meant to challenge and instruct.
Compensation and Credit
Internships are unpaid and we are not able to offer allowance for housing, travel or other expenses. However, we are willing to assist any intern accepted into the program with any efforts to receive funding through their schools.
It is highly recommended that applicants seek guidance from a faculty advisor on how best to receive school credit for their internship. The Museum will work with the intern and their school to see that any requirements are met.
A regular schedule will be decided with the intern after they are accepted and will be based on their school's requirements and/or the intern's needs. The Museum does not have any set requirements as to the number of hours or the duration of an internship.
