About Natalia de Rezendes and One Voice Studio:
Natalia has been coaching singers young & young at heart for nearly 40 years. Beginning in the ‘70’s as general vocal music teacher in Blackstone, Millville, MA to the voice faculties of Dean College in Franklin, MA and Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI to present day here at One Voice!?She has served as choral director in numerous sacred settings of varied denominations as well as with her Portuguese/Brazilian ethnic heritage.?? Having sung in so many varied styles and genres, Natalia has had two bands through the years; Amaretta, the band of many ethnic styles and Brazil 99 which specialized in the Brazilian light jazz of the ‘60’s.?Through the years Natalia has had the joy and privilege of working with so many singers of all shapes, sizes and ages who have gone on in varied types of music careers including Opera, Broadway Music Theater, Music Therapy, Pop/Commercial Vocalists & Songwriters, Music Educators, Church & Synagaogue Cantors, to name a few.

Responsibilities

One Voice Studio is looking for an energetic intern to join the team led by Natalia de Rezendes. The ideal candidate for this internship position would be a current music performance or music education student enrolled in a local college or university with a concentration in vocal, piano or guitar. The goal of this internship position would be to assist with Voice Lessons, Voice Class and music student recruitment at the One Voice Studio. Tasks may include sheet music file management, music recruitment mailings, student database management, participation in voice lessons and performance classes. Intern will observe vocal teaching techniques in a live setting. This intern will also be exposed to international music therefore knowledge of foreign language would be advantageous.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a music performance or music education student enrolled in a local college or university with a concentration in vocal, piano or guitar
• Ability to read music
• Knowledge of foreign languages: Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese a plus
• Outstanding time management skills, with ability to multi-task
• Professional and positive attitude
• Superb interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in social media: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
• Experience and ability to work harmoniously with others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
