DescriptionDescription: This internship is designed for current college students at the undergraduate or graduate level or early professionals. The successful intern will be one who is preparing himself/herself for a career as a recording engineer and/or studying recording and production techniques. Duties and responsibilities will include the recording and editing of all festival concerts; both chamber music ensembles and full symphony orchestra.
Compensation: Housing will be provided with a host family or local hotel free of charge. Some meals and a modest travel stipend will also be provided. College credit may be possible depending on the academic institution; it is the responsibility of the intern to explore credit opportunities. Final recordings are distributed to all musicians, will be used for radio broadcasts, on the festival website, Festival films, and future Festival marketing outlets – full recognition will be given to the intern wherever applicable.
