DescriptionMoneyTBM Inc. is looking for a hard working and independently motivated intern to fill the position of an in house engineer. The company has many major label artists as clients with many album deadlines approaching. Excellent interpersonal skills are a necessity as well as the ability to show initiative and advance quickly. In this position interns will be working closely with Joshua Berkman, Grammy Award Winning Engineer and Mixer, Head of A&R for Cash Money Records, Director of A&R for Kemosabe Records/ Prescription Publishing, and Manager for many major label multi-platinum artists, writers, and producers. This internship is a great opportunity to gain the experience, relationships, and referrals required for industry level jobs.
Responsibilities- Arrive early to set-up and prepare studio for recording sessions
- Create a professional and inviting environment for clients
- Record and mix sounds/vocals
Requirements- 2 years of experience with Pro Tools is required
- A certification in audio engineering/ mixing is preferred
- The ability to engineer recording sessions with a variety of music
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different environments
- Availability to work flexible hours including some late night sessions
