Crossroads Community Church is currently looking for 2-3 individuals to intern in our Media Department. Each position is for 8-24 hours a week, depending on Intern availability, to be performed between Sunday through Thursday with both daytime and evening hours available. Our media director, Adrian Gates, is an award-winning producer with a wide set of skills to teach. Interns in our media department can expect:

• A learning experience that combines skills useful for a career in professional concert venues, multiple-room corporate venues, professional theaters, recording studio production, Internet video production, and of course, ministry and church production.
• A deep involvement in live sound production for a church service with full band and media presentations
• A fun, fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

With a lot to offer, we'll try to tailor your internship around your area of study. Possible responsibilities may include:
• Produce weekly Podcasts, CDs and TV shows
• Assist in the production of live church services
• Maintain good file management of source footage, including sound, video and photographs
• Assist in maintaining the facilities media infrastructure
• Act as the Assistant Engineer for all audio and video productions
• Use existing original and stock footage to produce new videos
• Contribute to mixing and editing to create polished and engaging videos
• Publish videos primarily to the web, touch-up still photography, and graphic design

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited program in any of these areas: Audio, Video or Multimedia production; Music performance or production; Bible college with a media or music concentration; Marketing or Communications.
• Approaching graduation and seeking intern credits (Younger students will also be considered)
• Punctual, polite and with a positive attitude
• Able to manage multiple projects
• Fluent with both Apple and Windows products
• Classroom experience with live sound production
AND / OR
• Classroom experience with non-linear audio and video editing on any platform
