Devinaire Entertainment is a Music Production company that was founded in 2009 by Producer and Composer, Devin Johnson. Devinaire specializes in music services ranging from production, artist development, film scoring, live arranging, and show programming. Our Founder and CEO, Devin Johnson is a native of Columbus, GA and is an Alumnus of the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. Johnson has created original arrangements, productions, and scores for artists such as Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Jennifer Hudson, Day 26, Toni Braxton, and many more. Devin has also created music for the BET Honors, HBO’s Concert For Valor, and multiple TV Networks including MTV, Bravo, and UpTV. Devin also worked as the arranger and programmer for Fox’s hit TV Series, American Idol.
Devinaire Entertainment also houses Singer/Actress and Social Media Sensation, Jade Novah. CEO, Devin Johnson teamed up with Novah in 2012 to produce her debut project, “Shades of Jade”, and has been influential in developing her unique sound that fuses Musical Theater, Pop, and R&B. Administrative Assistant Internship:
Devinaire is looking for a hard-working intern to act as an assistant and take the lead on our day-to-day administration in the Los Angeles Area. Our intern will gain valuable knowledge about the Music Production, Film Scoring, and Live Music Industries. The ideal candidate should have an interest in the music and entertainment industries and must live in the Los Angeles area.
ResponsibilitiesThis part-time position entails assisting in the management and scheduling of recording sessions, responding to booking requests, planning video shoot venues and itineraries, booking musician/film personnel, database management, bank runs, answering calls, contract administration, event coordination, and general office management roles.
Unlike other internships, we can offer a truly hands on experience working along side Artists, Producers, Writers, directors, A&R’s and social media influencers. Interning at a small boutique production company means more hands on experience, and direct coordination with our colleagues and clients.
RequirementsSomeone who is currently or has previously studied Music, Business, Marketing, or Communications at the collegiate level is preferred but is not required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously. Must have a professional manner and be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Must work well with others as well as on your own with no supervision. Interns should be self-motivated, extremely organized, articulate, reliable, able to multi-task in a VERY fast-paced environment, MAC & MS Office proficient. Speaking multiple languages is a plus.

Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 12 - 20 hours a week, spread over three or four days. Interns must commit for the minimum of at least 3 months (or the term of their internship program with their university).
