Are you in school working toward a career in the music festival industry?

Gingerbread Shed Corporation (The Shed) is a music festival ticketing and RFID software company located in the heart of ASU's Mill Avenue District. Our services are utilized by music festivals all across the United States and Canada - check out our website to see a small sampling of some of our clients!

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about pursuing a career in the music festival industry. Our Festival University program is designed to give promising individuals an opportunity to get a foot in the door, learn the business, and grow with us. Fest U students are tasked with learning our ticketing platforms through hands-on experience in our Ticket Purchase Support (TPS) call center, and occasionally traveling with us to work on-site at our clients' festivals. Over the course of the program, those who show that they are "Shed material" by embodying our core values, and by demonstrating their ability to use our technology at an expert level, will become "Shed Certified" and receive an open invitation to fest with us in future festival seasons. Those who earn their Shed certification are encouraged to apply for openings throughout the company, including our Client Services Support Department - working directly with festivals!

Day-to-day responsibilities in the TPS call center include:

Take incoming phone calls from festival customers
Assist customers with purchasing tickets
Assist with payment issues
Assist with other issues related to ticketing
Provide festival information and policies
Answer emails from customers using either templates or writing original responses.

Hours for this position vary and may be up to full time during the summer. TPS is open from 8:00am - 7:00pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am - 5:00pm Saturday

Some travel may be required to attend client festivals and serve as on site support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Currently in school pursuing a Bachelor Degree
1 year of related work experience (customer services, office, or similar)
Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
Basic computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets, internet, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be flexibility, take initiative, and be self-motivated
Possess creativity skills
Must be organized and able to retrieve information quickly
Problem solving/reasoning skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
