DescriptionThe Recording Compound is a premier audio recording and production studio. As an intern, you will be supporting The Recording Compound's integrated marketing strategies, while learning fundamental marketing methods, business management, A&R skills, and so forth. You will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions and will be working in direct correlation with our record label, Live the Music Group (LIVETMG), who is housed in The Recording Compound.
ResponsibilitiesHelp with collection and mixture of quantitative and qualitative data from various marketing campaigns.
Assist with advertising and marketing promotional activities including social media, mail, e-mail, web, and print.
Work with various databases such as ReverbNation.
Draft client communications, content for blogs, website, and social media.
Go through LiveTMG’s artist catalogues and type lyrics to songs.
Inform management about at least two local shows or showcases per week.
Schedule at least one studio walk through a week for potential clients.
Bring in weekly SoundScan reports.
Listen to prospective client music submitted to LiveTMG’s email and submit promising talent to management.
RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and/or state ID.
Have reliable means of transportation.
Familiarity with major social media networks
Access to the Internet.
Possess strong work ethic, strong organization skills, and attention to detail.
