Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionRI Entertainment is an artist management company based in Midtown, NYC. We focus on international multidimensional talent with clients that are artists, bands, singer/songwriters, composers, etc. As a small company we work closely together, so the interns we are seeking will have a chance to work with the head of the company, a prominent music executive with years of experience.
This experience is invaluable as we have relationships at the highest levels of the major record labels, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group, as well as a wide variety of other industry-related companies.
This internship is unpaid. You will have a chance to sit in on meetings taken by the CEO, meet other industry professionals, producers, songwriters, etc. and network with them.
ResponsibilitiesThis internship is much like any internship in which sometimes you will be handling administrative tasks,
running errands, making calls, etc; however, you will also be providing input on marketing/promotion ideas, running social media content for the company and clients, sitting in on meetings, providing input on new recorded music by our clients, etc. There is a lot of responsibility to be assumed, it is a unique internship from this aspect. Be prepared to learn a lot.
RequirementsThe ideal intern is computer savvy, well-rounded, and versed in social media.
Must own a computer (Mac preferable, but not necessary).
Must have a great attitude
Must be a team player
Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must be available at least 3 days of the week (M-T)
No experience necessary but any industry experience is a plus.
