Description

210 Local Media and it's affiliate, 210 Local Music, have become synonymous with local music in the San Antonio, Texas area. Together, we boast an internet, social media, and podcast presence while maintaining a global fan base. We focus largely on band promotion, booking assistance, and recently, under the 210 Local Music name, have started an independent record label. We look to develop our artists and prepare them for getting to the next level on the local and regional live music scene.

This internship is for someone looking to gain knowledge in managing bands, creating contracts, and navigating the local music scene. We are looking for like-minded individuals who love the arts, music, and film and are trying to get into the music/entertainment industry.

We are currently growing and are looking to sign and support 3 to 5 bands. Positions are immediately available pending interview and a trail event. We are looking to develop artist managers, booking agents, and relationship managers.

Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for answering and composing emails in all facets of the record label (booking inquiries, college/terrestrial radio outreach, event creation and maintenance, and musical submissions. The ability to communicate with the label executives is a must.

210 Local Media is looking for individuals who are punctual, well spoken, and skilled communicators, who will reflect the integrity of the brand and the artists we represent. Applicants must be able to compose emails with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. We are in the business of meeting, building, and maintaining strong working/supportive relationships. Must be a good note taker, skilled at multitasking, must be a self starter, and must be excited to work in the field.
