Maek – the world’s first free electronic music record label, is now accepting music business interns! An internship at Maek provides music business enthusiasts with the opportunity to obtain real world experience at one of the top independent music companies in the industry. Our internships provide on-the­-job training by allowing interns to shadow industry professionals in a variety of departments. Every intern is assigned a special project that will both assist them in increasing their understanding of how each department operates, and aid the department in addressing a business need. Maek values its interns and works to ensure a mutually rewarding experience.

Professional Development
In addition to providing industry experience, we ensure that our interns get the most out of their internship with our organization. Intern events are conducted every semester providing interns with an opportunity to socialize and network with their fellow interns, interact with executives from the company, and attend a multitude of events.

Much like the music business as a whole, the responsibilities change over time; We will discuss current responsibilities of the job with potential candidates after applying.


To qualify for an internship with Maek one must:
● Be at least a junior in college with a focus in AD/PR, Marketing or Music Business.
● Be able to create detailed long term/short term creative campaigns for music business projects. Or express how your experience and passion in music business translates to this position.
● Make a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.


Preferred - Interpersonal Communication, Organization Skills
