Sound & Vibe will become a record label in addition to a recording studio this year (link to the current studio website, new one coming very soon We are gearing up to release our first of many albums, launching the label and taking our music, visuals, philosophy and culture public.

We are building our core team and need genuine, honest, passionate and hard working people to be a part of this awesome movement.

As Studio Assistant Manager and Engineer you will be involved in virtually every aspect of the music making process. From song-writing, producing, recording, editing, mixing to mastering. You will help manage the day-to-day at the studio, keeping things running efficiently and productively.


You will be in the thick of it. We record here virtually every day. It will be your responsibility to contribute to our clients' experience. Mostly, this means understanding what the goal of the session is, how can we better prepare it to go smoothly, how can you assist to increase workflow and overall enjoyment of the experience. "Teamwork makes the dreamwork" and we work together here to go over and beyond to deliver an extraordinary environment. You will find that nothing is expected of you that we don't do ourselves. That said, we write, record, edit, mix and master music. We also do a lot of cleaning, errands, studio improvements, etc.


Above all, must be honest, responsible, reliable, critical thinker, strong work ethic and ambitious. You must have a fire of passion burning inside you for music/studio life.

I'm looking for someone who wants to become a GREAT engineer and needs the right environment and opportunity to hone their skills. This type of person is so hungry to further their knowledge they will constantly research every aspect of the recording process in search of best practices, techniques, etc.

- Must be fluent in Pro Tools and best practices (trouble shooting, improving workflow, tracking, editing, mixing)

- Must understand basic signal flow concepts, digital as well as outboard analog gear.

- Familiar with recording studio etiquette and know how to handle themselves with Clients and Artists in a professional environment.

- Well versed in basic physical interactions with audio equipment: carefully patching and un-patching signal cables (awareness of phantom power), proper microphone care and safety.

- Must have knowledge or take initiative in researching technical solutions, better techniques, etc.

- Must be able to uphold studio appearance of cleanliness and maintain studio equipment with care.
