Description

Join a team of professionals, activists, and elected officials in our action to fight displacement and prepare pro-growth management policies and activism.

You can enact your skillset as a lawyer and expert planner to challenge projects that threaten the displacement of DC resident and neighborhoods.

Use your knowledge of environmental protection to win projects that reasonably develop the city by mitigating adverse impacts to the city's people, water, air, and fauna.

You can enact your internet research and database and social media skills to increase our data sets and outreach possibilities.

You can enact your GIS mapping skills to bring the stats to life at meetings, hearings, and for policy makers.

You can bring your activist game for door knocking, phone calling, and campaign building to win the fight outside of the hearing rooms.

We want to see reasonable development of the district that takes into consideration existing residents, neighborhoods, and culture. We don't want dramatic over-development based on the whims of fleeting corporate profit which displaces DC families and communities of color.

Responsibilities

Depends on the opportunity. We are flexible in skills, tasks, and time commitments.

Requirements

Passion for justice and the culture and communities of the District of Columbia.
