DescriptionWe are looking for hardworking, responsible interns who want to learn more about the social change movement, are willing to take on new challenges, and most importantly, care about making a difference.
Change Corps is a one-year training program in grassroots organizing for graduates. Together, we’re building a movement with a pipeline of emerging new organizers and leaders to push and prod our country forward. We need a strong team of interns to help us launch this new nonprofit organization.
Interns work closely with Change Corps staff to develop and implement recruitment plans to get in touch with over 1 million students across America, interns will help us as we get our message out through social media, coordinate program logistics across the country, and mobilize candidates to get involved. Experienced Change Corps staff will provide training and mentorship to best prepare interns for careers in political activism, public policy, journalism, and non-profit management. Students completing the internship program may be offered a full-time paid position with Change Corps.
A new, more open-minded generation is calling for a more equal and democratic America; a greener America; and an America that understands that while each of us wants to be free to follow our own path, we're all in this together.
Many Americans share our values and views, and yet too often, change is stalled on the issues we care about most. To meet this challenge, we need organizers and interns with the tenacity and the training required to move our country forward. That's where Change Corps comes in.
If we want positive change in America, we have to organize the kind of public support and grassroots action that persuade decision-makers to stop obstructing change and instead embrace it.
