Working as an integral member of the Public Outreach and Communications team, the Communications and Media Fellow will help implement a media strategy that continues to raise the profile of Polaris Project and the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC). This fellowship works directly with members of the media to promote the organization’s goals, including state and federal policy advocacy, education and training efforts, fundraising, and awareness about the NHTRC hotline. The Communications and Media Fellowship is an opportunity to work on exciting projects at the local, state, and national levels in a fast-paced communications operation.
The work of Polaris Project is grounded in a set of values and organizational beliefs that provide a common starting point for all of our activities. At Polaris, we look for talented individuals who are passionate about combating all forms of human trafficking and who will strive to embody and model these values within the Polaris community and in the anti-trafficking field.
