Do you know someone who drowned or had a near-drowning experience? These terrible accidents can largely be prevented through education and layers of protection.

The Drowning Prevention Foundation, a Bay Area nonprofit agency that works to create awareness and advocate for policy change to prevent childhood drowning, is currently looking for Community Directors! Community Directors help deliver our programs in their neighborhood and the surrounding area.

Although Community Directors are unpaid, you will gain great experience in regards to the in's and out's of a nonprofit advocacy group, in addition to helping out with a great cause! The Volunteer Director will work with you to ensure that your experience with DPF is as beneficial for you as possible. In turn, you will gain great skills and experience for your resume. DPF can also serve as a great reference for future employment opportunities.
