Founded in 1998 by Nancy Levicki and Susie Cunningham, Dress for Success Houston has served more than 40,000 women through its suiting program and Professional Women’s Group, reflecting the overwhelming need that exists in the Houston community.

Overview of Position
Assist the Professional Women’s (PWG) Group Manager, Member Organization Coordinator, Volunteer Services Manager and Director of Operations with special projects as needed. Assist the Store and Inventory Manager with store inventory maintenance and management, merchandising and reconciliation.


• Special projects could include preparing for PWG meetings or events, preparing for volunteer groups or events and helping prepare for off-site meetings with Member Organizations
• Assists with donor thank you’s, outreach and volunteer involvement
• Also helps with Women of Wardrobe event preparation and marketing communications
• Create and send email blasts via Constant Contact
• Process and record inventory and determine inventory into keeps and giveaways
• Assist with receiving donations and pick-up of donations in warehouse
• Maintain appearance and housekeeping of facility, store and warehouse
• Manage and complete work to targeted deadlines
• Ensure fitting room and store is organized and ready for suitings each morning and tidied at the end of each day

Clothing Donations
• Provide information to clothing donors as needed, including tax receipts, give donors tours of facility
• Data entry of clothing donors and mailing tax receipts

• Assist suiting clients as needed
• Ensure general upkeep and tidiness of the agency
• Assist in miscellaneous duties on request
• Data entry, filing, completing mailings, creating labels, stapling handouts, copies
• Helping with front desk duties, answering phones, returning calls, checking in clients


Required Skills
• Self-Starter, able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and results
• Some heavy lifting required
• Familiarity with technology and databases
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for the mission of Dress for Success
