Description

Take a Pic Save a Life is a non profit organization that provides donation-only photography sessions to families that can't afford to have their photos taken otherwise. We support other non-profit organizations to raise money for their cause and spread awareness. Each family's charitable donation supports a non-profit organization that provides meals for those in need and helps in the efforts of ending world hunger! In the past, we have toured various Boys & Girls Clubs, and each member of the club and families in the surrounding community had the opportunity to sit down with a professional photographer. Each family received a photo package of 3 sheets: 1-8x10, 2-5x7 and a sheet of wallets. Our events also included free food, bounce houses, video game trucks, carnival games, music, etc.... We are looking for interns to help organize these ongoing events, gain more name recognition of our organization and publicize our events. Our website is www.takeapicsavealife.org

Responsibilities

*Social Media for events
*Media relations for promotion and coverage of events
*Brainstorming for and organizing events

Requirements

*We are looking for sharp, professional individuals that have big hearts and love giving back to the community
*Good communication skills (written & verbal)
*Ability to multi-task is a MUST
*Excellent computer skills (Excel, internet, social media)
* Business , Marketing, or PR Degree or skills
*Strong organization skills
