The intern will assist with the organization, and/or implementation of the Women on the Move Luncheon that make possible our chapter's services and investment in MS-related medical research.

**We do provide our interns with a stipend. This is awarded at the end of their internship commitment and is paid directly to their university/college account to help with education expenses. We accept applications from all over, but please keep in mind that we are unable to provide relocation or living expenses.**

Responsibilities

•Event planning for Women on the Move and other agency events
•Research of local companies and their involvement with nonprofit organizations
•Assist donor development with securing table hosts and Woman of Courage nominations
•Phone call follow-up on vendors and companies that provide services
•Assist with compiling registration information for event
•Attend committee meetings
•Other duties, based on intern interest and agency priorities

Requirements

Must be at least 18
Must be enrolled with a university/college during the time of internship
Must be available for 14-16 hours per week between Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

SKILLS DESIRED:
•Special event planning, marketing, communications, public relations, or advertising student
•Strong writing, verbal communication and computer skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments
•Excel and/or Microsoft Word experience a plus
•Intern must provide own transportation
