DescriptionTurkic American Federation of Southeast,TAFS internships offer students and recent graduates an opportunity to interactively participate in the workings of the TASS office in Atlanta, Georgia. Interns carry out several responsibilities, such as the opportunity to perform research, draft reports, attend various events in Atlanta think-tanks, draft reports regarding the events and help answer correspondence. They also open and sort mails, and answer calls from or communicate with several political or diplomatic figures of Atlanta.
ResponsibilitiesOur interns assist staff in several areas including correspondence, research, and drafting reports. While intern duties are mainly administrative, interns should expect to be given more and more responsibilities during their period of internship in the TAFS.
RequirementsThe program is intended to provide participants with the tools, skills, and experience that they can
readily apply to future challenges and professional pursuits. We expect a great deal from our
interns. Candidates will have a diverse, challenging experience and make a genuine contribution to TAFS's work.
We welcome all applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence and have
displayed a commitment to public service. While preference is given to Turkic Americans, students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
