DescriptionInternational Kids Fund is a program of the Jackson Memorial Foundation. Our mission is to facilitate access to life saving and life-changing medical care to children worldwide who cannot be treated within their country of origin and who without our assistance would have no other options for treatment.
Fundraising Coordinator Internship
Exciting fundraising internship offering real-world experience in creating, managing, and tracking successful fundraising campaigns and initiatives. Position allows for great creativity and flexibility in developing successful campaigns, and implementing strategies to meet revenue goal. Position is responsible for generating new campaign ideas, tracking results, and completing all donor fulfillment obligations. Gain valuable fundraising experience in this dynamic fast-paced working environment.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify innovative/creative opportunities for fundraising.
Develop International Fundraising opportunities
Develop/implement donor communications, create relationships in order to establish donor retention and future gifts.
Support organizational initiatives with marketing communications strategies, publications and marketing materials that support the development function of the IKF.
Leading IKF marketing efforts, to increase awareness among South Florida Community and at national level as a credible/top charity of choice.
Website Management – oversees the website content, including desired e-commerce and communication functions.
Develop/update all elements of publications and collateral materials as necessary. This includes story development, editing, and proofreading of the IKF Newsletter.
Support event PR efforts to secure optimal event exposure and attendance.
External representation/spokesperson for the International Kids Fund.
RequirementsStrong networking and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong organizational and project management skills
Capacity to adjust strategies and tactics quickly in response to new information
Development/fundraising experience a plus
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Computer experience, Word, Excel and Power Point required
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software a plus
Associate’s degree (AA) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferably in non-profit setting.
