The Human Resources Intern will provide support for the Human Resources team. The Human Resources unit is responsible for recruiting, hiring and on-boarding new staff, performance management, labor relations and employee benefits for 100 employees in five US regions and Washington, DC. We also coordinate a vibrant internship program, hosting up to 60 interns per semester between our NY and DC offices.

The Intern provides general support for HR staff, gaining practical experience and knowledge in one or more HR areas. These areas may include: coordinating the internship program, pre-screening incoming applications for staff positions, employee benefits administration, and HR recordkeeping. Some basic clerical support will be part of the internship. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are required. A career interest in Human Resources or Non-Profit administration is preferred.
