DescriptionWe are a 501(c)3 non-profit that aids veterans in need of professional attire and career path. We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded interns who can help develop our organization. Candidates must be business-oriented and creative. You will have the opportunity to build an organization. We also need help to prepare for a big event in Citi Field (Mets Stadium) this coming September! You will not find an internship as fun or as rewarding as this! All of our past interns have gone on to acquire jobs. This internship will give you invaluable experience and look fantastic on your resume! With our internship, you will learn and acquire a diversified skill-set.
Our foundation will give college credit and will fill out any necessary paper work for your university.
Feedback letter as well as recommendation letter is available upon completion!
No hourly pay, but stipend may be given for outstanding performance! (There is also a potential long-term employment opportunity based on performance!)**

This is not just a summer internship. The duration of this internship runs into the school year. There is a potential opportunity for long-term employment based on performance! We are based out of Shelton and Southbury, CT.
-Assisting Executive Director with the following:
-All projects and proposals
-Customer Service on phone and through email
-Organizing and sorting through inventory
-Transporting inventory to storage facility
-Social Media Marketing
-High School Diploma
-Must be currently enrolled in a College or University (part-time or full-time)
-Must be a Junior or Senior
-Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Must have strong work ethic
-Excellent verbal and written Skills
-Friendly and outgoing
-Must be available at least 2 days per week
-Must be able to meet deadlines
-Must be willing to use personal lap-top or cell phone if needed
-Must have transportation
-Strong leadership skills:
-Excellent organizational skills
-Extreme attention to detail
-Creative, out of the box thinker
