DescriptionWant to break into politics? Get to know the names and faces of Orange County’s leading Democrats and help us support Democrats around the county by interning with the Democratic Party of Orange County. The DPOC is currently seeking responsible and capable individuals who are interested in learning first-hand about politics In 2012, the DPOC will be involved in campaigns at the local, legislative and state-wide level.
This internship is ideal for college students or recent graduates who are interested in becoming involved in Democratic politics. The internship will be based at the DPOC Headquarters in Santa Ana. Interns are vital to our operation. Historically, the more an intern puts into the experience, the more they get out of the experience. High-level work and willingness to learn is a must.
ResponsibilitiesDPOC interns will a focus on one particular area of operations and Party activity. However, all interns will perform standard office duties and are expected to assist in whatever areas are needed to help the team. Internship focuses will be limited to a specific number at any one time.

Requirements• 18 years of age or higher
• Enrolled in school or recently graduated student
• Minimum commitment of 3 months and 12 hours/week (weekend hours available)
