This position will be supervised by the SPOT Supervisor, Clayton Gonzales. The Spot has a paid staff of 3-4 and usually 1-3 volunteers serving at any time period. This is a great opportunity to learn about the homeless youth population and the skills and policies needed in providing basic and sustainable resources.

Volunteers will be crossed trained to serve in registering clients and providing breakfast, showers, laundry, clothing, hygiene items and access to Urban Peak counseling, education, and job training programs. The registration tasks will include answering questions of clients about Urban Peak programs and activities, specifically related to The Spot. This person will admit and check clients in for activities, meals, meetings with staff or to use the laundry and shower facilities. The duties also include attending staff meetings for planning and evaluation of programs.

Must be at least 21 years of age. Volunteers must be willing to serve and interact with an urban youth population and need minimum supervision.
