About the Internship:
Where: Lanham MD
Internship will last up to 4 months, with a minimum of 20 hours a week, we are flexible w/ hours and start/ finish as long as they fit these confines
We will work closely with you to communicate and respect the interests/ goals that you have in conjunction with the internship duties.
Responsibilities• Develop innovative/engaging approaches using crowdfunding platforms to fund various projects from human trafficking to community building
• Create a proposal on a potential social media strategy, evaluate various social media platforms, or come up with suggestions on how our current social media strategy might be improved.
• Create support materials, such as charts, graphs, or other visuals.
• Plan and coordinate an event or meeting.
• Outreach/ Research for potential new peace building partners
• Maintain Database
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements*Undergraduate, Graduate student, or volunteer with concentration in Marketing, Public/International Relations, Communications, Anthropology, Political Science and/or social media.
*Knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and Indesign a very big plus
*Active involvement/expertise in social media campaigns a plus
