Why intern with the American Lung Association?
After an initial screening process, we will tailor an internship to meet your specific needs and availability. This real-life, hands on job experience will boost your resume, increase your self confidence, enhance those skills that you have learned in college, and help prepare you for your first job. There will be opportunities to network with business professionals, doctors, pharmaceutical representatives, teachers, respiratory therapists, board members and donors. Working for a non-profit also adds a dimension that most jobs do not, the benefit of helping others.
