Description

Want to gain experience in nonprofit management? Intern at a major art/music festival while learning marketing, fundraising, event organizing and more. As we are a small staff, you will be working directly with the Executive Director in a hands-on way in the creation and execution of fundraising/marketing/event-planning strategy creation, materials development and event creation.

Responsibilities
1. Assist with development of activities which will generate revenue and strengthen our brand image as an arts organization.
2. Assist in developing advertising and public relations materials: press releases, ads, brochures, etc, and assist with dissemination of these items.
3. Assist in maintaining electronic marketing: website, social media, email campaigns.
4. Help collect information on existing patrons/donors/partner and bring in new patrons/partners.

Mayfair Festival of the Arts is one of Allentown’s largest community festivals and the region's only truly multidisciplinary arts festivals. We are now in preparation for Mayfair's 28th annual festival.

Mayfair, a non-profit organization, exists to build community, to showcase visual and performing artists from the region and the world, to provide arts education, and to build future audiences for the arts. The Mayfair office is located in the southernmost tip of Allentown, just a few minutes’ drive from most college campuses, in a bank building that offers plenty of parking.
