Description

Provide administrative support to Executive Director, staff members and volunteers by assisting in ongoing office, fundraising and other Chapter priority activities.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for fundraising activities where applicable.
Assist in maintaining the chapter computers, database and files.
Assist in input of data concerning fundraising events, membership, leadership, volunteers and donors.
Retrieve information from database for reports as required.
Receive appropriate training and update skills in computer technology.
Work closely with the chapter office manager to ensure a system of checks and balances.
Coordinate chapter activity calendar and ensure proper office coverage and support for all necessary tasks.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all information.
Prepare records and reports.
Organize mailings.

Requirements

-High School graduate or GED or equivalent. Some college preferred. Knowledge of administration procedures, such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of coordination of people and resources, planning and resource allocation. Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access). Experience using databases. Ability to learn new computer software programs. Excellent written, oral and communication skills.
