ColorCancer connects individuals through the use of over 20 colors, each representing different cancer, creating communities that empower, strengthen, and support one another in times of need. As a program intern, you will work directly with the Program Director on the expansion of ColorCancer's various programs; including our High School Campaigns, College Chapters and development of our new Care Box Program. You will be able to be a part of developing a brand new program that impacts the lives of Texans with Cancer!
This is a very hands on internship position and you will have the opportunity to work in specific areas that interest you!
Interns will be responsible for working on various ColorCancer projects. As a new non-profit, we operate with a team-oriented mentality. Each intern will have his/her own projects and tasks, and will work with staff and other interns to help keep the organization moving in the right direction. Tasks may include drafting program content/descriptions, marketing content and materials for the new Care Box Program; expanding ColorCancer's High School campaign; providing support with coordinating various events, spreading ColorCancer's mission and more!
ColorCancer is a fast-paced environment with endless opportunities to learn and master real world skills. Applicants MUST be detail-oriented and a self-starter. We are a small, passionate team and everyone here has a can-do, how can I help attitude - you must have that too! We are looking for interns who are passionate, dedicated, hard-working, creative, and entrepreneurial-minded. Applicants must be currently working towards a degree or have received a bachelor's degree. Applicants must be experienced with Microsoft Office programs.
