DescriptionThe Office the Stewardship and Development at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is currently seeking several research interns to serve on our team. Our organization that offers a variety of charitable giving and strategic options aimed to support charitable organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia region. We can assist parishes in services such as capital campaigns, annual appeals, stewardship initiatives, feasibility studies, increased offertory programs, Heritage of Faith ~ Vision of Hope redemption options, and planned giving. Through these efforts, The Office for Stewardship and Development educates those throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia how to live as good stewards by sharing each individuals unique gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
ResponsibilitiesInterns will assist in prospect research, as well as research a variety of Catholic foundations in the greater Philadelphia area. Interns will also perform administrative tasks including, mailings, managing files, creating spreadsheets, handling client inquiries, and managing the website.
The start date is flexible and we can work with each individual's academic and work schedule. We do prefer that the individual be able to start as soon as possible, or by April 22 the latest in order to receive college credit. RequirementsApplicant must be:
Have an interest in working for a Non-Profit Organization
Previous volunteer experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office, PowerPoint
Internship is for academic credit or volunteer experience only
