The Social Enterprise Intern can expect to gain greater experience with the non-profit sector and learn about its complex relationship with the community. The Social Enterprise Intern will gain hands-on experience in community engagement internship hours range from 10-20 hours per week. We have four available internship placements available this fall 2013 through spring 2014.

Collecting and processing data and conduct research in low-socioeconomic minority communities, working closely with the community development and outreach team to reach organizational goals. Assist with PQI , Data Analysis and Accreditation activities in Service Area. Analyzes data and trends to report, recognize and identify program(s) need in terms of increase, decrease and/or stagnant performance outcomes.


Strong decision making, strong verbal and analytical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office. Internship is in direct assistance to the Project Manager with ability to work independently. Social Entrepreneurship Intern can be a social service related major with an interest in business or a business related major with an interest in social enterprises.
