DescriptionThis is a new non-profit and we need a spectacular driven Social Media Community Manager to control the social media: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as create outreach through various bloggers and websites.
Experience necessary. This is perfect for a college student looking to build up their portfolio while making a positive difference.
You will control the social media platforms and post once a day, or a few times a week. The goal is to get more followers on all platforms and connect with the influencers that would like to get on board with the mission. You will also contact bloggers in the fashion, events, and nonprofit sectors who would be interested in what we're doing.
In addition, we would love to hear your thoughts. We want you to come up with a social media strategy, head up all outreach, and really think outside the box.
Work with our Events Board to come up with fun, creative, and unique events. We love working with brand partners that support the mission. Past events include Citizens of Humanity and Soul Cycle. Come up with additional events, and brand partners.
You will be in control and have a lot of freedom in marketing, design, and strategy. You will report to our Director of Community Outreach and Events Board.
You'll also be asked to update the website weekly via Square Space with content provided.
This is a virtual position, but if in the LA area, we'd love for you to come to our Board meetings, and be involved with events. We are looking for someone for 6 months or longer.
RequirementsMust be enrolled in college. We are giving college credit.
Previous experience is necessary. Should have an understanding of tagging companies we're partnering with, creating momentum, brand awareness, and writing in a third-person point of view.
We are looking for initiative, and someone to create something from little direction. Efficiency is key to success.
