DescriptionPAVE (Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment) is changing lives through education, social advocacy and trauma healing. We take a positive approach to preventing and healing those affected by sexual assault. We are hiring two administrative interns to work with our executive director to help us continue our mission. ResponsibilitiesPAVE is looking for an intern to performs administrative duties for the executive director of the organization. Responsibilities may include screening calls; managing calendars; making meeting and event arrangements. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as donors and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
- Communicate with other members core members of PAVE
- Communicate with the media
- Help leverage local and national media appearances
- Research as directed
- Set up meetings and calls
- Assist in managing internal events
- Follow up on all items needed by the executive director
- Meeting minutes and follow ups.
- Other duties as requested.
This position will be 10-15 hours a week. Applicants should be self starters who are comfortable working individually and as a part of a team. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Requirementsmust have administrative experience and strong writing and research skills.
