DescriptionAnimal Place is one of the oldest and largest sanctuaries for farmed animals in the country. Nestled on 600-acres in Grass Valley, CA, Animal Place provides refuge to hundreds of neglected farmed animals. In addition to permanent sanctuary, Animal Place's Rescue Ranch is a 60-acre adoption center, placing needy farmed animals into permanent homes.
Put your compassion into action and join us for an animal rights, advocacy, and outreach internship! Your residential, live-in internship will be a memorable experience spent advocating on behalf of animals at our sanctuary in Grass Valley, CA.
The animal rights internship is perfect for the individual with a drive to create meaningful change for all farmed animals through outreach and education. Interns work directly with Animal Place education and program staff. This diverse internship allows you the opportunity to directly advocate for farmed animals at our 600-acre sanctuary, interact with our animal residents, and travel off-site to engage the public at outreach events.
Housing is provided, but food and transportation to/from the sanctuary are not.
