Description

EcoArt Project is a creative think-tank for a healthier planet.

EcoArt Project provides a vision of environmental protection and sustainable development, via emotionally impactful art, design, architecture, and the work of creative minds.

With the purpose of fostering a cultural impact in the green world economy, we leverage the universal language of arts to intensify awareness, engage and bring people together.

We develop artistic projects and creative campaigns that bring out the magical synergy between art, culture, education, progress and sustainability.

Our ambition is to build the largest global network of artists and collective of creative minds whose expressions carry messages related to our planet’s safeguard.
EcoArt Project provides a creative platform to highlight these messages through diverse and innovative channels.

We are currently designing an exciting program for: educational activities, workshops, juried art competitions, public art interventions, community and beautification projects, exhibitions, art residencies, publications, shows and powerful social media campaigns.

Requirements

EcoArt Project is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Internship Program. We’re searching for creative, inspiring minds who are interested in generating positive environmental change through the power of visual arts, design, and storytelling. Those interested in gaining experience in a multifaceted international non-profit arts and design organization should apply.

Check out ecoartproject.org to learn more about our mission, vision and activities.

Interns will work closely with members of a small, dynamic team and will play a crucial role in the accomplishment of our goals. We strive to tailor internships to the needs and interests of each candidate and will provide hands-on instruction and training. Timing and internship duration are flexible and some work may be performed remotely, off-site. Internships are unpaid or for school credit.

We are seeking an ARTS PROGRAMMING INTERN who is planning a career in the arts or design world. Must be familiar with and interested in learning more about the art industry. Responsibilities may include researching the contemporary art, design and architecture industries; maintaining artist databases; assisting with the curation of art events; and helping to develop the organization’s arts programming. Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

We would like you to be an organized, self-starting, detail-oriented, sustainability-minded, tech-savvy problem solver who considers lifestyle, contemporary art, design and architecture to be your bread and butter. Must be comfortable on Mac platforms. Office is located in Midtown West Manhattan.

Students or recent graduates should send a cover letter, resume, and attached PDF portfolio or link to the best of their work.

Skills
