City Vision Internships is a Christian one-year, multi-year or summer internship program based on the AmeriCorps model. Interns serve at one of over 40 positions across the USA and Canada. In the past 10 years, we have placed over 500 full-time interns and 68,000+ volunteers in hundreds of Christian ministries.

For Interns without a Bachelors Degree: One Year (or summer) Work Study Internship

Provides a work study internship with free tuition in City Vision College for a full year paid by
hosting ministry.
Online courses providing accredited degrees in Nonprofit Management, Addiction Studies, Urban Missions, and Business Administration.
Housing is provided by hosting ministry (or a cash equivalent living

One Year Paid Internship

Housing is provided by hosting ministry (or a cash equivalent living stipend).
Interns paid a living stipend from $200-$600/month (depending on site).
Free tuition in City Vision College
for a full year paid by hosting ministry. (Optional)
Expectation is typically 40 hours of volunteer work per week.

MBA Graduate Fellowship

Full Scholarship for an MBA through Bakke Graduate University (worth over $18,000; does not include graduation fees or optional travel fees)
Two years of supervised nonprofit or ministry experience interning 35 hours/week.
Bachelor's degree required to apply.


(1) Daily assistance for core people in L’Arche homes:
 To build a relationship of mutual care and support with persons with disabilities.
 To provide direct care supports and skill building for core members (people with
developmental disabilities) in
 Personal care needs (clothing, hygiene, etc.),
 Money management,
 Medical care, appointments,
 Family and work connections
 Household chores, laundry
 Medications,
 Meal preparation, and
 Transportation
 To support a home life of unity, mutual respect and participation by all members.
 To receive direction and supervision from assistants, coordinators, core members
and house leaders regarding community building in L'Arche in order to be able to
announce L’Arche and the gifts of people with Developmental Disabilities fluently
to the larger community.
 To assist in emergency preparedness for the local L’Arche community.


-Minimum 21 years of age
-Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
-Pass all applicable state required back ground checks
-Must be a Christian
-U.S. or Canadian citizen, U.S. or Canadian national or lawful permanent resident alien, or have a valid
student or work visa
-Able to make at least a summer (May 20-August 9) commitment (may be extended by mutual agreement)
-Able to financially live on just free housing and any outside income sources you have.
-Able to relocate to a location of a ministry site (unless a site exists at your current location)
-Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
-Ability and willingness to take part in team meetings; house chores; required trainings.
-Ability to keep clear written notes for medical/state required paperwork.
