Description

The Fairmount Community Development Corporation (Fairmount CDC) is looking for Social Media & Marketing Interns. This internship is an incredible opportunity to help promote one of Philadelphia's best neighborhoods! The social media intern will create strategies to increase followers and subscribers on existing platforms, assist in securing press at neighborhood events and functions, and work in a community with over 600 businesses!

If you're tech savvy, creative and want to be apart of an organization that promoting Fairmount to be the best Foodie town in Philly and the best place to live in America- join the movement!

Responsibilities

Organization Branding and Marketing
o Organizational re-branding (prints, copy, website).
o Assist in managing the social media platforms
o Promote the business community with over 600 businesses



Requirements

Qualifications
o Excellent writing skills
o Superior interpersonal and communication skills
o Strategic problem solver and self-sufficient
o Ability to work collaboratively
o Social media savvy (also includes LinkedIn)
o Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (preferred but not essential)
