Children's Bureau, a nonprofit leader in child abuse prevention and treatment, is in search of 1-2 talented students who are interested in leveraging their passion for helping others within the world of graphic design and communications. This internship offers students the opportunity to support the Donor Relations Manager in creating collateral materials for fundraising events and the newly launched, Team all4kids. This involves creating brand-adherent content for print, website and social media use, including newsletters, posters, mass emails and more. Intern will have access to Brand Guidelines and past materials and will be a part of concept meetings.


A passion for helping others and willingness to learn is a must! Applicants should also be creative, enjoy writing copy and creating campaign concepts, have excellent communication skills, be reliable and dedicated to helping Children's Bureau in their mission to prevent child abuse. This person will be introduced to what it's like to manage a company's social media platforms professionally - a great starting point for anyone interested in pursuing a career in design or communications (esp. nonprofits). To be considered, applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:
+ Knowledge of design software including Adobe Suite and Publisher
+ General knowledge of how to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+
• Good writer - creative, attention to detail in grammar, spelling, punctuation
• Excellent time management skills - ability to stay on task
• Self-motivated! Desire to learn & take advantage of the experience
• Good attitude
• Reliable
