DescriptionLa Cultura Rica is dedicated to get important information out to DACA and Latino students that are interested in going to college. Our mission is to reach out to and guide as many willing Latinos to the path of obtaining a college education. Although it is starting out small at first, we hope to grow quickly and efficiently so that everyone can have a helping and supporting hand. As a College Communication Link you will contact several colleges and universities to find out general information about possibility of enrollment, benefits, scholarships, and more regarding DACA students. You will form a list of basic questions to start out with and clarify any gray areas you encounter. You will be added as an Admin to the Facebook page to post your findings. Although this is unpaid, you will receive a reward of some kind and a recommendation at the end of your time serving La Cultura Rica.
ResponsibilitiesYou will contact colleges and universities daily, follow up on emails received, post information professionally on the Facebook page, from time to time respond to comments (this includes getting answers to other basic questions asked), and promote La Cultura Rica when possible to the public, teachers, and students who would benefit from the information shared.

This internship is open to students enrolled full or part time in any college or university in the United States.
