Food & Water Watch is a non-profit political advocacy organization that champions healthy food and clean water for all. We stand up to corporations that put profits before people, and advocate for a democracy that improves people's lives and protects the environment.

We envision a healthy future for our families and for generations to come, a world where all people have the wholesome food, clean water and sustainable energy they need to thrive. We believe this will happen when people become involved in making democracy work and when people, not corporations, control the decisions that affect their lives and communities. To help bolster public participation in our legislative campaign to ban hydro-fracking in Denver and the State of Colorado we are looking to add to our team of field organizing interns.

The duties of the field organizer will be to educate the public on critical environmental and public health issues and to foster civic engagement and organize citizen action to effect policy changes.

We offer leadership training and advancement opportunities for qualified individuals and ensure that all staff develop valuable communication advocacy skills as well as experience with the legislative process.

We are looking for exceptional individuals with excellent verbal communication skills, a passion for environmental and social justice issues, and strong interest or experience in progressive politics.

Required - Excellent communication skills, Passionate about work
Preferred - American Politics, Environmental Policy, Social Justice
