DescriptionThe mission of Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) is to help families facing homelessness settle into safe, stable homes and build healthy lives filled with peace, hope and opportunity. To achieve the mission, DCM provides emergency housing and homelessness prevention services (including food, rent and utility assistance) to low-income seniors, Veterans and at-risk families.
DCM is seeking a Communications and Grant Writing Intern to work alongside our development director. The Communication and Grant Writing Intern will assist with various development tasks such as gift data entry, database management, grant writing, preparing donor thank you letters, preparing monthly electronic newsletters, creating flyers, assisting with fundraising events, and being active on social media.
