DescriptionWinning The Battles In Your Mind is seeking an intern to assist with submitting corporate sponsorship requests. Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Reaching out to the community organizations, corporations, and other donors regarding the need of sponsorship for Winning The Battles as well as the benefits provided to the sponsoring organization. (Via Email, mail, internet form, phone, etc.)
*Collaborating with staff on new ideas for obtaining new sponsors.
*Maintain sponsorship tracking log.
*May also assist the WTB PR rep for other marketing/communications duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Attention to detail is key.
- Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision.
RequirementsInterns will perform the following duties:
-- media and blogger research
-- posting events and specials online
-- social media management
-- writing, editing and updating press release
-- recruiting volunteers
-- securing gift bag items
Interns must be:
-- self starter
-- able to work independently
-- forward thinking
-- great writing skills
-- pays attention to detail
-- has some knowledge of public relations and marketing
- Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas, unifying team members, and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences.
- Prefer challenges that involve communication, are people-oriented, promote networking and socializing, and include roles that call for imagination.
