DescriptionFighting Pretty is a non-profit organization that helps women battling cancer feel strong and beautiful. We are looking for an intern that has an interest in communications and has initiative, creativity, flexibility and drive. The communications intern will get hands-on experience doing marketing campaigns, social media outreach, event coordination and more. This is an internship that will give you very good experience and is a potential opportunity for a hire.
Responsibilities- Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Use alternate forms of communication (including graphic arts), resulting in improved interactions.
- Edit and proof other team members work and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements- Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas, being creative, and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences.
- Prefer challenges that involve communication, are people-oriented, promote networking and socializing, and include roles that call for imagination.
- Must be organized, diligent, driven and efficient.
