DescriptionAre you a college student interested in gaining some real world experience in a nonprofit organization? Would you like to develop skills in inventory management, development and communications? If you care deeply about babies and families in need, are interested in making a difference and developing your skills, this could be the internship for you!
Why Room to Grow?
The first three years of a child’s development is critical and poverty can be an inhibitor to success. Room to Grow’s unique three year program provides babies being raised in poverty with a unique combination of one-on-one parenting support, connections to community resources, and baby essentials including clothes, books, toys and gear. With this strong foundation babies in our program are more likely to start kindergarten on par with their middle income peers giving them a better chance to reach their full potential.
We will provide interns with a meaningful experience and hands-on training. We are looking for hard workers with a positive attitude and good organizational skills who are excited about helping families in need. Data analysis, social media, and/or graphic design skills a plus. Our goal is to provide a varied and broad-based experience across multiple functions of the organization.
