DescriptionRoom to Grow is dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout the critical first three years of development by providing families with a one-on-one customized parenting support system along with essential baby goods.
Room to Grow seeks interns interested in nonprofit management, programmatic operations, and early childhood development. Interns will support the staff of Room to Grow in a variety of capacities.
Responsibilities and activities would include (but not be limited to):
• Providing Inventory Support
• Providing Fundraising/Development Support
• Providing Database Management Support
• Providing General Programmatic Support
Examples of past projects include:
• Donor Research
• Community Outreach
• Research on Volunteer Management
• Event Prep including Décor Design and Volunteer Management
• Outreach for Silent Auction Items
• Regular schedule of 2-3 days a week
• Approximately 15 – 20 hours a week
We will provide interns with a unique opportunity to gain experience in the administrative aspect of non-profit work. We are looking for hard workers with a positive attitude and good organizational skills who are excited about helping families in need. Data analysis, Social media, and/or Graphic design skills a plus. Our goal is to provide a varied and broad-based experience across all functions of the organization.
