DescriptionThe purpose of this internship is to help the local chapter of the American Red Cross create and implement strategies to increase community awareness of the Red Cross mission. Intern will be responsible for expanding on disaster readiness and response capacity through partnerships and community presence. Responsibilities• Be a resource for local Red Cross chapter for research assistance
• Create “leave behind” and presentation materials for potential community partners about the
importance of Red Cross and community collaboration
• Guide local Red Cross volunteers in relationship building and Memorandum of Understanding
Requirements• Applicants must be a rising Junior or Senior seeking a degree in Emergency Management, Logistics,
Public Health, Management or related field.
• Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
SkillsRequired - Written & Verbal Communication Abilities, Microsoft Office Applications, Solid computer skills
